Kate,
Although I have been using the Farnborough Diurnal for some time, this always confuses me. For the little hours during an octave, what prayers are said? The rubrics on page 335*, says at Lauds and the little hours, ALL is said as above on the feast of Easter. Lauds and Vespers will use the Sunday psalms through the octave, but what of the little hours? It would seem that the Sunday psalms are also said at the little hours, but checking at the Divinum Officium website, depending on the ordo none of the ordos indicate use of the Sunday psalms, it would either be the ferial psalms (e.g. Monday Prime, 1,2,6) or the psalms said during the triduum (e.g.Monday Prime, 53, 4 sections of 118). For diurnal users, what are the correct daily psalms for the octave.
Yes, worst rubric ever! Bu the answer is you say the normal psalms of the Benedictine office but with the antiphons of Easter Sunday.
